This Site and Me

I write here to help me learn and gain deeper understanding of the things I'm interested in. If you find some of the content valuable then I'm very happy, if you don't then that's ok too!

I've worked in tech from bottom to top, hardware to product, and all over the world, Australia, Asia, Middle East, UK, Europe. I was enamoured with technology from an early age. My first computer was the fantastic Microbee from Applied Technologies (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MicroBee) on which I learned to program in basic and assembly language.

My serious career in technology started after a degree in Microelectronics Engineering and since have worked at the lowest levels of the hardware, Systems Programmer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, Product manager and senior executive at startups and large enterprises.

During Covid I became fascinated with Quantum Computing and spend the rest of lockdown doing MIT online courses (https://xpro.mit.edu/) in Quantum Computing. I've continued that interest and I'm currently enrolled in an MSc program in Quantum Technology.
